- At least five years of experience coding, debugging and testing reentrant z/OS Assembler language programs
- Familiarity with MVS assembler macros and I/O services
- Ability to analyze and debug code written by others
- Experience with and knowledge of JCL, TSO, ISPF, MVS Tools
- Experience in COBOL, C, REXX, ISPF application development a plus
- Experience with/knowledge of IMS/TM, CICS/TS, DB2 Stored Procedure programming environments a plus
- Experience with DB2 SQL language a plus
- Experience with mainframe-based software configuration management systems a plus

Linux Software Quality Assurance
We are currently looking for motivated testers to join our Quality Assurance team. Important Criteria
Working with development and product management to define test strategy, test plans and success criteria
- Execution of all aspects of the Quality Assurance Process for all components of multiple products.
- Participation and championing quality improvements
- Providing timely input to the planning process.
Starting Point
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing or software development
- Experience in test planning
- Experience in creation and execution of automated test scripts on distributed platforms
- Experience testing web browser applications according to UI usability standards
- Experience in the following technical areas:
- Linux and Windows platforms
- Network configuration and lab setup
- Wireshark (ethereal)
- DB2, Oracle, Postgres or other RDBMS
- Proficiency in working with RPM files
- Creation of automated test scripts using Bash and Python
- Creation of test programs using Java and C/C++
- Experience with test program creation using PHP, XML and C#.NET would be an asset
- Any IBM z/OS Mainframe experience would also be an asset

Senior Systems Analyst for Technical Consulting Projects
Job summary
Work closely with customers to identify opportunities for mainframe z/OS application optimization. In-depth skills in the use of mainframe software are required to enable the assessment of how the programs can be optimized. Must possess the required technical skills to identify, quantify and deliver the solution. Must be able to demonstrate before and after results to validate that the solution met the client's expectations. Strong team building and conflict management skills are required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with customer to identify and assess applications and to gather the data required for the assessment
- Review the application in detail with the customer to identify how optimization could be accomplished and expected benefits; information collated into a report
- Develop/implement project plans in support of design efforts & strategies
- Implement and test the recommended changes
- Benchmark application performance before and after to ensure expected results are achieved
- Managing the end-to-end customer relationship for each consulting engagement
Required
- 5 - 10 years of programming and analysis experience with an emphasis on performance optimization
- At least 3 years experience in developing/implementing project plans in support of design efforts and strategies
- At least 3 years experience in analyzing/recommending methodologies, tools, and components of total IT solution involving System z hardware, software and services
- At least 3 years experience in leading technical teams in the solution of new and complex information technology problems
- At least 3 years experience delivering technical solutions that meet customer requirements and increase customer satisfaction, and working closely with customers to deliver that solution
- Readiness to travel up to 75%, and mostly international travel
- Strong mainframe programming skills: COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, PL1
- Extensive experience mainframe performance and monitoring tools, including DB2 optimization
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and strong listening skills
- Proficient presenter to multi-level audiences; strong PowerPoint skills
- Impeccable client references from prior engagements
- Demonstrated track record of performance to schedule and budget
- English: Fluent
- Spanish or Portuguese: Fluent
Preferred
